Keystone pricing is simple and fairly common. Take the price you paid for an item, double it, and that is your retail price. That’s a markup of 100%.
You have to pay all your other expenses/overheads out of that: salaries, light & heat, advertising, loan payments, and any other expenses.
Not all businesses are the same but basically you have to ensure that gross margin is enough to pay all your overheads but also a profit for yourself as owner
